Jon graduated from the University of Queensland in 1982. Prior to joining Bundoora Veterinary Clinic in 1984 he worked as a vet on the Darling Downs in Queensland.

Jon has his Australian College of Veterinary Scientists Membership in small animal surgery and for many years worked closely with small animal surgical specialist Dr Roger Clarke. He is one of our senior surgeons and undertakes many soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries. In September 2015 with 4 other employees, Jon purchased the practice and hopes to continue to run it in the manner that it has run in the past.

Jon lives with Erin who teaches at the Box Hill Institute of TAFE and is a former veterinary nurse at the Bundoora Veterinary Hospital. They have several cats and Jon pretends not to like them.

Out of work Jon is very interested in aviation and can be seen every second year at the Avalon air show.
